Professional Air Lock
MA50050100008The professional airlock or cylindrical airlock is made up of three parts: main chamber, hood and frame. The main chamber has a small tube that reaches to the center, with a fluid chamber around it. The last one is the one that contains the water. The hood is then placed on top of the tube, where it naturally stays. When CO2 from fermentation begins to accumulate, it travels through the tube and fills the hood. When it is full, CO2 escapes from underneath it and passes through the water.
