The DMA is composed of a funnel hopper and a box, both in enameled steel. Manual use is carried out by the flywheel that transmits the rotary movement to the agitator and rollers, resulting in gentle crushing of the grapes. The flywheel is also connected to the dismantling shaft, which separates the grapes from the stems through the removable stainless steel grate. The gears and rollers are made entirely of nylon to ensure robustness and durability. The rollers can also be adjusted by a few millimeters thanks to special brackets.
